Yes the way it ended was not good but there was 283 combined pitches throw before that one. Errors were made, WP moved runners, runners thrown out at 3B with 2 out. 15 hits and 23 Ks combined. Opportunities were many before the last pitch.
Josh Ekness strikes out four and walks one in his two innings of work. Three strikeouts via his sweeper, seen below.
Ekness continues to impress this spring. 7 IP, 12 K, 3 BB on the campaign.

@Publix Hi! We had a ton of people commenting on our recent posts asking if Publix carries Jimmy’s Famous Seafood products, so we wanted to reach out directly. There seems to be a lot of interest from your customers in seeing our items in your stores.
Would you be able to connect us with the right contact for your seafood buyer and snack/packaged foods buyer? We would love to set up a meeting and explore the possibility of working together.
Thanks so much and looking forward to hearing from you.
Since allowing three runs (on a ball that arguably should’ve been caught) Josh Ekness has thrown back-to-back perfect frames with four total strikeouts.
He’s averaging 97 mph with his fastball this spring.

After missing some time due to a stiff back unsigned 2026 LHP @SawyerWells15 Baytown Sterling HS throws a scoreless inning with a K 0 BB and a nice bit of PFP. Yes the back looks better.
Asking for a friend. Now that College athletics are being paid will states like California tax them like they do professional players when they play in those type states?
