@CaryKelly11 I have horrible systemic inflammation from EDS and haven't been able to get it under control with anything. My doctor put me on a low dose glp-1 and with in a week I could already tell a difference. I don't know how long I'll be on it but it's nice to know it's there.

Family members, a mother and two daughters, were/are all on GLP-1s. All three have lost significant weight but the one who had to quit GLP-1 because her new insurance provider wouldn’t cover it, started eating whole foods and drinking water. She looks 10 years younger but the other two look 10 years older. Losing weight is great but gaining health is way better. Health isn’t drugs. Health is food.

@FoundationDads I asked my parents to get a divorce, I was really happy when they did. Now, my husband's mom took her life, that caused a whole lot of trauma and so forth.

Divorce means you lay a generational curse on your family until someone with more integrity comes along to stop the cycle. Here are 10 uncomfortable truths about divorce: 1. Divorce, whatever the reason, is never to be celebrated. It is always a multi-layered, multi-generational tragedy. It will affect your children no matter their age. And it will affect your grandchildren. And your great-grandchildren. It flows downhill. 2. A divorce will not lessen the fighting or strife in your life. It does nothing but bundle your pain, multiply it by 10, and strap it to the backs of your children. They'll carry it with them for the rest of their lives. 3. Your children will put on a good face, and you'll be able to pretend everything is ok, that you "made the right decision." But they're not ok. You forced them to take responsibility for your own selfishness and failure. 4. A divorce is a murder. The husband and wife are "one flesh," and destroying it kills something that was alive and whole. Dismembering it. You may think you are gaining your life back, but you are really losing it. Your kids know the truth, however. They feel the death. 5. Divorce is contagious. Be careful who your friends are. Be careful who your wife's friends are. A divorce in one group of friends can start a slow-motion chain reaction. If you think it could never happen to you, you are the most vulnerable. 6. A divorce will go off like a bomb in a child's life, no matter his or her age. Even if they are 30+ years old and out of the house, they will feel its ripple effects. It will weigh them down. You can't contain the damage. Wisdom and maturity offer bandages but not immunity. 7. A divorce won't allow you to escape from a key source of your pain and problems. Because wherever you go, there you still are. You can't escape yourself. The risk of divorce is much higher for someone who's already divorced once. 8. Divorce makes literally *everything* harder for your descendants. It will haunt them. Children of divorced parents: - have a 35-60% higher rate of divorce themselves - are twice as likely to drop out of high school - have a greater chance of living in poverty 9. Divorce also takes a hammer to the foundations of civilization. The more divorce, the less stability. The more divorce, the fewer men take on additional responsibility. And the more divorce, the more divorce in the future. It makes the slope steeper and more slippery. And the 10th truth, the most tragic one of them all...👇

The obesity epidemic doesn’t get enough credit for the dating and mating crisis. Men will tolerate a lot from a woman who’s in shape. Women will overlook a lot in a man who’s in shape. The dating market isn’t broken. The bodies are. Hit the gym.

Genuine question for women who have close male "platonic" friends: How do you deal with the knowledge that he probably finds you attractive and would, under the right conditions, happily let the relationships become sexual? Do you just repress this knowledge? Secretly revel in it? Pretend he's asexual? What?

@taylorburrowes I would invite a half dressed nanny into my home, I trust my husband 100%. I feel bad for the woman who don't.

“If your husband can’t control his urges, that sounds pretty rapey.” Let me backup… A young woman in my local nanny group posted her hire-me-as-your-nanny pitch with sultry modeling photos. I commented, kindly, that the photos were gorgeous but not appropriate for a nanny application. No wife invites a half-dressed young woman into her home around her husband every day. She DM’d me threatening to report me and have me removed from the group. Then the rest of them showed up. A whole cackle of aspiring nannies defending her, calling wives jealous, husbands predators, basically calling common sense bigotry. The loudest ones had seductive selfies as their profile pictures while insisting no family would ever see a nanny that way. Someone else chimed in that half these applicants are moonlighting on OnlyFans 👀 Not one of them could hear the actual point. Not one. A grown woman told them: don’t use bikini shots to apply for a childcare job. And they responded by calling her a pervert, threatening her with reports and defending the right to dress like an OnlyFans thumbnail while applying to raise someone’s children. This is the talent pool. These are the women asking to be trusted inside your home, around your husband, near your children and they cannot process a single sentence of honest feedback without collapsing into accusations and threats. Vetting doesnt just apply to dating. Families vet nannies. Wives vet threats. The entire unhinged thread was the vetting doing its job. Stay alert ladies and gentlemen. Always be vetting.

Women should remain as close to the weight they were, when they met their future husband or at the weight, he fell in love with her. It happens all too often, that women marry, have children, put on weight, and then say.. Well motherhood you know. Now, we don't know. It is not mandatory to become an overweight troll after you give birth. It is a choice. Do some women have it harder to remain slim after having a baby? Yes, sure. But it is a choice. You can't become fat as a wife and then be upset when your husband wants to cheat on you.

God warns against debt, yet many young women go deeply into debt to go to college, then are trapped in their job for many years to pay the debt, then put off or decide against marriage, having children, and being homemakers. How can this possibly be God’s will for young women?

@DanaPalubiak I like to call it fasting, and my daughter is allowed to fast as long as she wants. Fed is not best, if it was we wouldn't have young children go blind .

The 'serve what you eat or they wait 12 hours' approach assumes every kid is neurotypical. Some kids will genuinely starve before eating something that triggers a sensory aversion. Fed is best. Even if it's chicken nuggets.
Dr. Camilo Ortiz 👨🏼‍🎓@DrCamiloOrtiz

No parent needs to have "child foods" like sugary cereals or processed chicken nuggets at home to "get their child to eat." For example, you serve them whatever you are eating for dinner. If they don't eat it, that's perfectly fine. Breakfast will be served in 12 hours.

@FWPlayboy I don't know, my husband and I were at dinner and he asked if I saw the hatchet faced mouth breather. I said no, he showed me. She was probably 5'8, thin, looking at her phone, her mouth open, tounge out. I said better that then fat chicks. He said he'd rather be gay lol.

“Pretty face” Excess weight and a woman’s resistance to dropping it is an obstacle that can’t be overcome. Her desire to land a Man has to be greater than her love of ice cream.

@noketoke @akafaceUS I agree, I always bought into this calories in and calories out along with physical activity until I woke up one day and could barely walk 500 feet while my 12 year old daughter was worse then me. We have had genetic tests and 5 doctors that roll their eyes whenever I say this.

@noketoke @akafaceUS No sugar is “hidden” if you read the nutrition labels. What it comes down to is lack of accountability and maturity. Try 2000 calories daily and exercise. You can’t be a mental midget and be in shape as you age. Time to grow up

@Empyreus_Nous @noketoke @BigDaddy_____8 @akafaceUS This just goes to show how much you don't understand about the body. While calories matter, thermal dynamics show how different macros burn, it also shows how high blood sugar and inflammation changes that as well.

@noketoke @BigDaddy_____8 @akafaceUS The women you know are consuming more calories than their bodies require - causing them to remain over weight. It is that simple. Your body can’t create body fat from nothing. Nothing goes “way beyond” energy (food) when discussing energy storage (fat).

@DividendMil I'm 41 and have used pythagorean theory alongside trig and calculus in my life. Sorry you had to have a life so simple and uneducated that you didn't need any of that. Btw, I didn't need financial education because of my trig and more.

I’m 42 years old and I am yet to ever use the Pythagorean theory in a real life setting… Another reason why financial education should be taught in schools instead of trigonometry

@Carpio797464 @sleepysnow42334 @DisaffectedPod She's not wrong, my husband had a family friend that was a pedophile. Everyone knew it but turned a blind eye. My husband didn't, this guy put a gun to my husband's head, and my husband still testified against him while no one else would.

"Teach men not to rape!" That may sound reasonable to you on first glance because we've been hypnotized by modern feminism. But think it through, and it breaks down. It's unbearably stupid and is not connected to reality at all. The vast majority of men don't rape. There is no "inborn rape proclivity" in the majority of men that has to be "taught out." A minority of criminal, personality disordered men are rapists (just like a minority of people are murderers). You cannot "teach them not to rape." What does that even mean? Do you think your normal 12 year old son "doesn't know" that "raping girls" is a bad thing? Do you think he's inclined to do this unless you specifically tell him, "it's bad and hurts girls so you shouldn't do it?" Do you think your son responds with, "Oh, gee, mom. I never thought about it that way. OK. I promise I won't rape girls the way I was planning to." Good lord. -J

@CeriseFay @intensityflow12 @Qveen_Potato No, trans man literally means transitioning into the other sex. This person never transitioned. They are a rare genetic situation that most people will never run into. This person is in their own situation that has nothing to do with the trans community.
