I agree it's very important to recycle reusable materials. My family tries to recycle all that we can.

There are many things that people throw away that can actually be recycled. Such as paper, cardboard, glass and plastic. By recycling these materials we reduce the amount of waste we produce. #apeswaste @vahsapes

We do the same thing when we go on vacation. We also turn off the water heater.

Your right, I don't feel like as a society we appreciate enough how easy it is for us to access clean and safe water.

There are 2 types of sources of water pollution, point source and nonpoint source. Point source, you can directly point to the source of pollution. While nonpoint pollution you can't, it's more of a general area. @vahsapes #apeshydro

Currently farmers are using pesticides to try and kill pest so that they can increase their crop yield, but this is leading to several problems such as pesticide-resistance and health complications. #apespest @vahsapes

@cf17apes @vahsapes We need to install water bottle refilling station's, so that we can encourage the use of reusable water bottles at our school.

Reusable water bottles are a great way to drink fresh water throughout the day while also protecting our oceans and other marine habitats! Plastic water bottles don't break down and can harm animals who try to eat them #apesaqua @vahsapes

@AA17apes @vahsapes It's really upsetting to known that our pond at school is polluted. They need to hurry up and clean up the pond, cause Ashley and I once saw a crane that got trapped in the pond cause of the strings.

In the US we take for granted our water supply. There are people all of the world who don't have an sufficient supply of water. Some people have to walk several miles to find a source of water. Even then the water is usually polluted and contaminated with pathogens. @vahsapes
