@JenDimCM @JanSlapeta @Sydney_Uni It actually takes me more time to teach online as students don't have friends to ask (often trivial) questions. So they ask me and the amount of email and posts on discussion boards is about three times what it would be in a f2f class. So not cheaper at all!

@JanSlapeta @Sydney_Uni Aren’t lectures recorded? Haven’t students been online for past 2 years? It’s become the new norm. Universities still charging same for the courses as pre COVID, students not inconveniencing themselves to turn up in person.

Should I be shocked again? 1pm lecture - no one! I lectured empty chairs. 10 min in a student that was early for 2pm lecture showed up (completely unrelated subject different degree). We had a great discussion and I had one keen student learning. Where from now? Help @Sydney_Uni
