Before putting boots on the ground in Iran, the USA should use our variable yield nuclear bunker buster (B-61). We maintain 505 B-61's for a reason. Change my mind.

The government will confiscate 5.3 trillion dollars from the American people this year. That's an insane amount of money. Unless you believe the money is being well spent (it's definitely not) we should only be talking about how to cut spending. Not about how to take more from anybody.

The Jamie Dimon "I don't know what he means by fair share" response has aged particularly poorly. Bernie's math here is pretty concrete — specific rates, specific outcomes. Whether you agree with the policy or not, "I don't understand the question" isn't really a serious rebuttal when the numbers are right there.

Ok, Jamie: Let me clear things up for you. If my 5% wealth tax on billionaires was enacted you’d owe $135 million more in taxes & a family of 4 making $150,000 or less would receive a $12,000 payment. Oh, and you’d still be worth more than $2.5 billion. Seems pretty fair to me.

Kilmeade: What do you say to people like Bernie Sanders who says billionaires don't pay their fair share? Dimon: I don't know what he means by fair share

@SarahisCensored As far as I can tell they didn't exclude his gun. Meaning they didn't show the bullet was something other than a .30 rifle round. That they can't conclusively show the bullet came from that rifle is unsurprising.

So many people do not understand what this means. The court filing states the ATF was "unable to identify the bullet recovered at autopsy to the rifle allegedly tied to Mr. Robinson," which in forensic ballistics means inconclusive (insufficient marks to confirm or exclude a match), NOT definitive proof of non-match. This does not change anything.

I want to go on record to say that I hate this vehemently. This orients the sport to the tediously precise algorithm, instead of the judgement and skill of the humans playing it, umping it, and watching it.

The article doesn't clarify the main question. Is the bullet consistent with the rifle? Was it a .30 caliber rifle projectile? Even if it's fragmented and deformed they can answer that question. If yes it's consistent with the rifle and that gun may have fired it. If no, that's a big problem.

The “science” of matching bullets to specific rifle or pistol barrels is nonsense and always has been. There is no scientific process that allows you to take a spent round that has been deformed and fragmented and then conclusively determine that it came from this or that specific firearm. Same goes for matching bullet casings to specific guns. It is 100% junk science. Same goes for matching bullet casings to specific guns. Anyone who still believes in this junk has spent way too much time watching fictional network crime drama. Thankfully courts have finally started rejecting this fake evidence and refusing to allow so-called experts to provide testimony relying upon it.

Hey @grok, is it true that based on a court filing an initial ATF report says they were unable to link the bullet recovered from Charlie Kirk's autopsy to the rifle tied to Tyler Robinson? Is it true that the defense cites this as exculpatory and plans to call the ATF analyst?

@RyanKoenigsberg Somebody would run into one. I'm sure there's a few guys on the Broncos with a decent swing and enough power to get one out. in at least 4,374 plate appearances somebody will give one a ride.

Lifelong A's fan. Probably been to 100 games there. With the possible exception of three years in the late 80's early 90's that's how it always was. The people that were there were great, passionate fans. They made it feel alive. But there were always a lot of empty seats. I feel for the fans but the writing was on the wall.

@WellsJorda89710 Real question. Can I be a Christian and disagree with the policies of the Israeli government? I don’t hate Israel. I actually don’t hate anyone. But I disagree with a lot of their decisions.

🚨You cannot truly be a Christian and hate Israel.🚨 Scripture is clear: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” — Psalm 122:6 (KJV) And God declares: “For thus says the LORD of hosts... he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.” — Zechariah 2:8 Israel is the apple of God’s eye. To stand against her is to oppose what God Himself protects and loves. True followers of Christ bless what God blesses, pray for what He commands, and stand with His chosen people. If you love the Lord, pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love her will prosper. #StandWithIsrael #PrayForJerusalem #BibleTruth

This is false. The A's could not remain in Oakland. There's no shame in fixing a broken situation. Had the Bay been serious about having two teams, it'd have them. Most of the dissent against the A's is misplaced partisan desires rather than the actions of the A's.
Michael Colbruno ☮️@MikeOpera

The @Athletics should have stayed in Oakland. SHAME on Rob Manfred and John Fisher. @SFGate: "...the A’s have arguably the worst reputation in the sport." tinyurl.com/msm7euc5 #SellTheTeam #RootedInOakland

It's not true. What's true is the team was trapped in a contentious market. Fan support was tepid. The demos angry. Partisans and their press corps always undermining the success of the team. Bottom line? The A's needed to leave Oakland ages ago, for sure, long before John Fisher took over in 2016. For anyone reading this...when the angry A's accounts place all the blame on John Fisher, know that they've been deluded into this position. They want a single toad, a billionaire even...meanwhile, Oakland city is broke, can't get anything built anywhere.

@TheQuartering I watched the whole clip. The second quote above was literally never uttered. That's also not a fair summary of the point he made. If you've stood by him before why would now condemn him for the least charitable interpretation possible of what he actually said?
