I know most people start their TTRPG adventures with D&D, but what do you think is the best RPG for beginners?

@AllwaysRPG Training is done with a trainer, so the PC has to find a trainer and convince that person to take them on. To gain level x, the PC must train for x days and spend 15x gold pieces in order to complete the training. So, going from L2 to L3 takes 3 days and 45 GP.

GMs: How do you work leveling up in your games? Individual XP tracking? Party XP share? Mile stones? Something else? I'd be really interested to know

How can you make ttrpg dungeons and dark places atmospheric and scary if most PCs have darkvision of some kind?
