At the end of the 2019/20 school year, I knew I had been away from the front lines of teaching 4 too long. FINALLY! Today is my 1st day of school. I’m sitting outside my building at 6:20am bc I couldn’t stop thinking about hall passes, lunch counts…and I couldn’t be happier.

@NYCMayor @NYGovCuomo How can we make sure that all Donors Choose grants for PPE get funded by the state? Teachers know schools often don't have the supplies they need, and have to write grants for books each y. Now they have to write grants to ensure their classrooms are safe?!
