Lot's of ink & electrons being deployed this morning reporting on the GOP concern/panic over the narrow win last night in KY. Talk of needing to "shift," "retool," & better reach swing voters. The thing is, sometimes these shifts are the results of a slow, rocky start. +

Pastor a church long enough, and you’ll end up walking with the same people through the highest of highs and some very dark nights of the soul, too. What a gift it is to celebrate with them. What a gift it is to mourn together. Congregations see the whole of life.

@JosiahHawthorne Just reading through your thread, it is quite the Christian Nationalist primer. It is easy to see how it draws good Christians in b/c the gospel is there. & some speakers are more "over the target." But the mix is something else. Rather scary to see how smooth it all is.
