i started out just some kid that loved fighting games. when i first saw evo moment 37 and other high level moments in games i thought "ill never be able to do that stuff" here i am more than 10 years later red parrying chuns sa2 in a real match. i shed real tears after this

Awww man, Imma hear it for this one. People who have an issue with Sagat have a fundamental problem with neutral (probably never played or was good SF4) and it shows. Sagat is literally SF4 Vanilla sagat without the Zoning.

@jav1ts I don’t think the problem is the pressure. I think it’s cause your life is just tied to drive gauge. Any wrong decision and you go from 5 bars to 2 1/2 in a the blink of an eye. Also trades are so much more relevant in this game thy it makes contesting feel worse

I honestly feel like I might truly be out of touch with how people perceive things in fighting games nowadays but isn’t this what we were all dealing with vs all the top tiers in SF5 for like 6 years (until V-Shift)? That game had priority system on normals, even less pushback on block, and grey damage. Before people jump me, this is not me saying SF5 is worse than SF6. I am just honestly wondering, did people really forget? You block, you take some pressure, learn where the gap is and then get out. I probably was just not that good in SF5 but I personally had a harder time dealing with SF5 Karin, Luke, Cammy, etc than this since there was no universal parry and less pushback. Already dreading posting this because I feel like someone is gonna ask me what’s my MR and tag 37 other people and I’m just feel like shit afterwards 😭

@FrosephStalin I mean he’s gotten nothing but nerfs since he came out. I think he’ll get a buff cause imo as a glass cannon he doesn’t really stand out. But idk what they’ll do

@hereticmagicman They effectively took away being able to convert into big damage which is big in this game since no stun bar. He’s still good but why work that hard to die faster than everyone else. People just have hate boner for akuma

im honestly really confused about the constant Akuma dooming lately. why is every akuma player saying he is mid tier now what is happening? 🤔
