This morning I read, in about a 20 minute doom scroll: SpaceX exploring 30-minute point-to-point space flights to almost anywhere in the world. AI helping solve mathematics problems that had resisted human progress for decades. Quantum computing moving closer to error-corrected scale Fusion experiments setting new records. AI accelerating drug discovery and materials science. It is easy to get caught up in the noise of the day-to-day, but zoom out and the direction of travel is extraordinary. Reusable rockets are turning space into infrastructure. AI is becoming a genuine research partner. Quantum computing is starting to move from theory toward engineering reality. Fusion is no longer just a distant dream. Biology is becoming programmable. That’s all happening outside of revolutionising capital markets in the day job. Bullish on the future!
