The XRP Ledger has done it right to not distribute XRP into circulation via the consensus.
Setting it up for long term stability with short term distribution challenges.
Opposite to Bitcoin. It uses PoW to also distribute the supply into circulation. This makes BTC very expensive with long term challenges but with the short term supply distribution advantage.
Because distribution is only a short term challenge, long term stability is always the better choice. The next years for Bitcoin will be very interesting as they need to address challenges they got but prioritizing the short term advantages.

It’s great to see Ripple investing heavily in the security of the XRP Ledger.
Ripple runs an ongoing XRPL Bug Bounty Program and has also built an AI-powered red team, but no single team can find every bug.
Today, AI makes it possible to analyze more code and test far more ideas than before. There are still plenty of opportunities for independent researchers to make meaningful discoveries and earn significant rewards.
AI also produces many false positives, so careful triage is still essential. Even so, this is a very interesting time to get into XRPL bug hunting.

The results of the XRPL Audit Contest are in! Researchers reviewed five upcoming areas of XRPL functionality and identified: 2 Criticals 6 Highs 29 Mediums 59 Lows In total, $309,000 was unlocked, with rewards paid in RLUSD on XRPL. This contest used a feature-based reward structure, where each feature area unlocked rewards based on its highest valid finding. Breakdown below.
