@gatythinker She's a loyal friend that genuinely wants to just be a good person and friend, and she is. She's also quick to be stubborn, blunt, and passive-aggressive. She's the type who would take a bullet for you, but also not be able to hide that she thinks what you are saying is stupid.

We aren't really fighting "communism" but moreso just the horrors, stagnation, demoralization, and cultural erasure that happens during and after it. Communism always dies pretty quick. But it genocides a lot of the roots of the nation it infested. That's what we want to avoid.

@chriswithans This is because to the Democratic managerial class, Power is the only thing that matters to them. They'd force the blacks back on the fields, put the Japanese in camps, abolish women voting rights, and carpet bomb Gaza if it meant the Democrats got an extra +1 seat in the House.

Fundamental problem with SCOTUS jurisprudence is that a 5-4 Liberal court will side with Democrats 100% of the time whereas a 9-0 Conservative court could easily side with them ~33% of the time if Democrats actually bring legally sound cases to them. Like you absolutely know that a 5-4 liberal court would’ve struck down Texas’ map but kept California’s (even though the latter is much more egregious). Whereas even if the court were 15-0 Conservative, the modal outcome is that they would defer to both state legislatures to draw their maps as they see fit.
