@JackDuffin Because they won’t know if their rule change will be accepted. If the rule change is accepted the stars align and there’s an option for a trade that feels more realistic. It feels like if a trade will happen, both things need to occur.

If the #Browns plans were about potentially trading him in 2027 & 2028 but zero change in 2026 then they wouldn’t have changed the 2026 option date. They could have just moved the future ones.
That’s why I don’t believe this as a thought process

I don’t think people realize how much healthcare costs are driving big companies to fire and not hire.
It costs them $30k per family, per year for premiums and care. Most of that goes to the massive, vertically integrated insurance companies that send weekly bills that no one reviews in details. And it doesn’t include the company overhead to deal with it all. It’s usually the 2nd largest expense after payroll. Which is insane
It’s far easier to blame AI than it is to blame Healthcare costs.
Want to increase jobs, wages and improve affordability for every American ?
Break up the biggest insurance companies. Make divest non insurance companies. They don’t need thousands of subsidiaries. That’s how they game and abuse the system and increase costs for all of us.

Recently, Israeli forces subjected a one-year-old child to abuse to pressure his father into giving confessions east of Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, according to local and family sources. The child's father, Osama Abu Nassar, suffered psychological trauma after the death of a horse he used for income. While taking his child to buy supplies a few days ago, he was caught in gunfire near his home and forced by soldiers to leave his 18-month-old son on the ground and approach the Israeli checkpoint, where he was stripped of his clothes. According to witnesses, the army then took the child and interrogated the father at the checkpoint. The forces tortured the child in front of his father, including burning with cigarettes on his leg, pricking, and inserting a metal nail into his leg, as confirmed by a medical report.
