But that cannot be the only reason that many players left.With rivals it tapered off due to bad decisions and poor balance so there are multiple factors for such a drop off.

And the problem isnt the fact its a moba, the problem is people thinking it was going to be different then what it was. You think the average apex or cod player is playing games like league, deadlock, fuck even rivals or overwatch? They drew people in with the titanfall and apex tag, people expected that, and then they got something else.

None of you guys were ready for @PlayHighguard and it's sad. The game's learning curve for introducing Mount play into FPS/ looting/ controlling POI's/ rotations/ base raiding with team play and strategy was just too much for the casual player. Highguard was never a bad game and I'm not saying it's the greatest; it was just too hard for people to understand. Hard games just cannot survive in this slop market and we'll never have a new competitive FPS that features new mechanics into the genre for many more years to come.
