Introducing blockchain technology into the Sri Lankan government's system would allow the public to make decisions and minimize the power of politicians. ☃️ ❄️

@ualbertaScience @UAlberta Alberta isn't a safe bet for internationalnstudents right now because of the separation talk. Look at other Canadian provinces.

New research sheds light on Peace River earthquakes: study by postdoctoral fellow Wenhan Sun and professor Jeff Gu shows how wastewater injection triggered a domino effect of interactions between deep fault zones. #UAlberta @UAlberta

@UAlberta_Eng @UAlberta International students better avoid Alberta for university. They want to separate, don't gamble with your life or your education there.

A lot of college athletic programs are now doing business like the government. Spending money they don't have. or Spending other people's money. Schools are willing to go millions and some will go billions in debt for college athletics. It may be the worst business model in America. The athletic directors and school presidents are taking the bait.

@ualbertaScience If you’re looking at Canadian schools, skip Alberta. They’re talking about separation and it's not worth the trouble. Save your money and go to a better province.

The University of Alberta votes tomorrow on removing EDI from hiring policy. There have been several new articles about it leading up to the vote. But these are missing something important. This is about government censorship and institutional freedom. thegatewayonline.ca/2026/03/studen…

@UofAALES Highly recommend avoiding Alberta for your higher education. It’s not safe with all the separation talk. Spend your time and money in a province that actually wants to be part of Canada.

@ualbertaScience Don’t bother with Alberta if you’re coming to Canada to study. The separation talk makes it too risky. You’re better off spending your money in a different province.

@UAlberta_Eng International students should really avoid going to Alberta for school. They’re pushing for separation, and it’s a waste of your time and money. Look at other Canadian provinces instead.

@gborroughs @phillicheeztake It is highly recommended that international students avoid pursuing higher education in Alberta. They are saying they want to separate; do not risk your life in Alberta. Instead, select a better Canadian province to spend your time and money.

Is it? Private charter in 1911 as Mount Royal College, affiliated junior college to the University of Alberta in 1931, seperate public college of Alberta in 1962, rising to become Mount Royal University in 2009. Still offers welding as it moves to add medical dotoral degrees soon. Yeah, a lower bar than UofT, McGill, UBC, UofA or UofC, but you did not mention an institution, so I thought to ask. Alberta is expanding w/Mount Royal University because there is a shortage of medical profrssionals to staff hospitals in Alberta, but also in most other provinces.

@colleen_torp1 @wealthmoose Alberta will not separate, it’s not your land. You’re living on stolen land, and you have no control over it. If you’re looking to separate from Canada, you'd better pack up and go back to where your parents or great grandparents came from.
