Bought it with money from my first job the day it came out even though I'm not a Zelda can because it was pretty much the only thing to buy with the Wii when it came out. I camped out and everything!

Yes. It's their opinion. The fact that you've tied your identity so strongly to a video game review from 2024 is so bizarre to me. IGN gave Alien: Isolation a 5.9 back in 2021 and I'm not writing a schizophrenic manifesto in other people's replies over it five years later.

@Xenos_RIFS @iloveairbagged I think it's kind of funny to be offended at a review before you've even played the game yourself lol but also 88% is so good a score. I liked the game! It's actually probably my favorite Zelda but I'm very famously not a fan of Zelda so that's likely why.

Why is "mother" (母) inside the Japanese kanji for "sea" (海)? 🌊🤱🇯🇵 I was curious about this too, so I looked it up! 海 is made of 氵 (water radical) and 毎 (every). If you look closely, 毎 contains the character for mother (母)! 🔎 Here’s the origin: In ancient times, 毎 depicted a mother wearing many hair ornaments. Because these ornaments were layered together, the character came to mean "dense," "vast," or "so deep that it looks dark." So, 海 represents water (氵) that is so deep and vast (毎) that you cannot see the bottom! 💡 Fun fact: While many believe it’s because "the sea is the mother of life," the original etymological reason is to describe the sea's incredible depth and darkness. 🌸✨

@AlphaB1tch @faith_vtch You can buy transparent plastic sheets at a hardware store and heat it with a hair dryer around the window frame, it'll cling to your wall and practically isolate the entire thing. Then you can remove it when spring comes. My dad used to do this all the time when i was a kid.

@faith_vtch @YisLunae I don't have a furnace lol. And the air would not heat back up quick. Literally no one in their right mind would do that here. Anyway the windows are frozen shut most of the time.
