@paulie0963 At the same time I cant view sports fandom as some capitalistic endeavor. Maybe I can understand recouping some cost on a regular season game. But we're talking about the playoffs. I cant imagine youd have voluntarily sold your own seats to the playoffs just to turn a profit.

@paulie0963 Paul, I get where youre coming from. Season tickets for football are expensive as hell. I had seasons for the Bills during EJ Manuel's rookie year and I sat in the rock pile for like 300 bucks total for the season. I cant even fathom the prices people pay now.

If I'm a Sabres player I'd be livid about the state of the Key Bank Center the past 3 home games. We're in round 2 of the playoffs and the lower bowl has been turned over to the Habs fans. Sabres season ticket holders should be embarrassed.

Can we all at least admit that it is incredibly stupid to boo when Habs fans start a chant in the KBC? Why on Earth are we booing rather than drowing them out with a Let's go Buffalo chant of our own?

@StrozewskiAaron @paulie0963 Enough were there that it was loud when the Habs scored and at the end of the game there were distinct "ole" chants happening which im sure could be heard on the TV broadcast. Wouldnt be as noticeable if the Sabres were playing well, but theyre not so to me its part of the story.

Are STHs still taking the blame for Habs fans being at the game? I would have made around $5 per seat after fees if I sold my seats for tonight’s game

@StrozewskiAaron @paulie0963 This picture was from well before the game started. Lots of people not to their seats yet. I can assure you the 100 level had a lot of red and it was particularly prevelent in the half Montreal shot twice.

@paulie0963 Yeah, but Paul im not talking about making back some bread by selling a regular season ticket. Im talking STHs blatantly re-selling PLAYOFF tickets at prices that push out Sabres fans and essentially guarantees those seats go to Habs fans. Theyre not fake fans but they are lame.

@ZacKrell As a long time Bills STH who kept them often only to make sure Ralph would not move them, many times could not literally give the tickets away… I get tired of being called not a real fan cause I sell two games a year. If someone gunna give 2k for the opener, I taking it. 8k PSL

@MattKopnak Pretty sure this series has exposed why Lindy wants Tage to play wing.

People are going to victims of the moment and want Tage gone. That is not the correct play. The Sabres probably pay him at least 4M dollar under market value. You need goal scoring, build better infrastructure around him.

The Top 100 Problems for the Sabres this series in order of importance: 1. Star player performances 2. Coaching 3. Power Play 4. Penalty Kill 5. Lineup decisions . . . 100. The Habs fans inside the KBC It might be the last reason on the list but I'm still annoyed by it.

@waynebrettzky27 I agree that if the Sabres were playing better it would be a moot point. Am I coping? For sure. The Sabres terrible play is the only reason it's in my mind because it's let them be noticeable.

@ZacKrell Game 1 they barely had any presence whatsoever and were never heard from because the team didn’t play like assholes. Games 2 and 5 their numbers were a little greater and that’s on fans, but if you can’t shut up 1,000 away fans bc you’re playing horrible, it’s your own fault.

@paulie0963 A real fan would have walked to Buffalo and slept in a tent outside of the arena if it meant going to the game. Don't give me southern excuses. 😂

@ZacKrell Absolutely zero, I live in Richmond Va. I have also bitched zero times about other fans. For you to make one game out of 6 and then bjtch at other fans tells me all I need to know about your “ commitment to the squad”. Go by a ST, and go to every game if you are “ real fan”

@Donoghue31John No argument against that. Sabres have been out-coached and out-played pretty much every game. It's still annoying to get punked by another team's fanbase in your own building.

@ZacKrell The Sabres players are the ones that should be embarrassed. Their play on the ice at KBC has been horrendous. And it has nothing to do with who's watching from the stands.

@ZachSheldon There's enough in attendance that you can hear audible "olé" chants during parts of the game. Again, the play of the teams has had more of an impact on the atmosphere than the Habs fans in attendance, but it doesn't make me less mad about the amount of Habs fans in our barn.

@ZacKrell Lower bowl wasn’t turned over to Habs fans last night, I appreciate looking for somewhere to direct fury but it’s just simply not the case

If I’m a Sabres player I’m embarrassed about how we’ve played on home ice 4 of the last 5 games 🤷🏼‍♂️

@ZacKrell This is when I know someone is bandwagon fan and does not go to games … they complain about the actual fans who have had tickets for years. Thanks for showing your self Zac. Would love to see one pic of one ticket in your wallet of any Sabre game this playoff run.
