Guys, this is really fun project that Jesse is putting everything into. He’s got a great slate of writers on board for his anthology and the underlying world is just balls to the wall fun. Give it some love.

Do you remember how, in old computer RPGs, if you got poisoned, you'd walk around and every turn or so your characters would go "ouch!" and take a point of damage, until they finally died? Yeah, no idea why that came to mind.

Just finished “Magic and Bullets”, the sequel to Academy of Outcasts. A magnificent book. Fantastic pacing, story, characters and worldbuilding. Larry Correia once again delivers a story that hits almost everything excellently! Best new release of the year so far. 9.7 out of 10!

@JordanBlack1989 Try it. You’ll find Howard’s prose to be quite elevated for a story about a barbarian killing monsters and bedding wenches. A lot of Lovecraftian style monsters and concepts make their way into Conan as well. The 2 authors were friends and it shows.

I have never read any Conan stories but I see this idea of him being compared to Lovecraft frequently. Does Howard produce prose such as this?
