The problem is, every modern attempt to create such a thing gets taken over by very online young people who can’t wait to talk about fertility rates, the “JQ,” race IQ, and the 19th Amendment.
The left has always been a home for radicalized young people. Their reactionary counterparts are just as radical but somehow even more lacking in basic social skills.

Yesssss… But part of the issue is, I forget who said it but it gets bandied about, that any group or organization that isn’t explicitly conservative will inevitably become liberal. But at the end of the day I’m saying we need social groupings that are capable of bringing together conservatives to make being conservative not as culturally isolating as it is, especially when you’re young

It’s a problem, and has long been a problem, that Socialists are simply better at building physical communities to keep people connected and engaged than Conservatives. It’s easier because they’re by default more “group” oriented, but I do truly believe we need to figure this out

I thought it was pretty dumb how Odysseus sets sail and starts calling his journey his "odyssey" and everyone just accepts him naming after himself without question.
