Yesterday a Pakistani woman was mobbed in Lahore after people mistook Arabic text on her attire for Quran verses. It troubles me to know exactly what would have been her fate if the female officer hadn't of rescued her. This is what poverty and a lack of education looks like. A country destroyed by corruption, that fails on basic rule of law, and provides little to no economical future, cannot advance in social, religious or gender rights issues. There is so much work to do.
