@zoink Yes. More code being written faster & by more people creates an increased need for design overall. $fig will benefit from agentic coding

Remarkably, one of the suspects from the Louvre heist has a criminal record of 15 offenses, including previously robbing a jewellery store. Yet he was hired by the Louvre as a security guard! Do they not do background checks? 😂

@thesamparr Disagree, you have to spend money on housing anyways. It’s not like you can divert the mortgage payments into S&P500 if you were renting. You’d just be paying another landlord’s property off instead..

So what's stopping it from happening? Political incompetence? A system too complex to even begin reforming? Are we going to keep taxing people more and more to plug the gap? What's the end game?

We’re on holidays in the Middle East and had to attend peadiatric A&E yesterday. Super modern, clean facilities. Son immediately seen by doctor. Given a private room by default. Discharged 1h later with medicine to take home. Guess how much the whole visit cost? 👇

I don’t know how I’d reform the NHS model to improve the overall care and capacity, but I think everyone agrees that it needs to happen - it’s at its breaking point. And our visit yesterday clearly shows it’s possible.

The counter argument is the US model where medical care costs a fortune to the point where it can bankrupt you for a simple A&E visit. But maybe the choice isn’t binary: completely free, or US-level, out of control costs. The Middle East seems to have struck a good balance here?

@DavidOndrej1 If this post gets enough reach, statistically, it’s likely to be seen by someone who actually needs a doctor, didn’t go because of this post inspiring them to “think critically” instead, and then end up with something much more serious as a result.

avoid people who go to the doctor. sure, if you break your arm a doctor can help you fix it however, people who constantly visit the doctor for the smallest shit imaginable should be avoided why? those are the kind of people who cannot solve problems. they lack critical thinking & self-reliance. they are permanently stuck in toddler mode, wanting someone else to do everything for them. do not get into relationships with those people. do not go into business with those people. trust me.

Our investment framework has three pillars: 1) Durable cash flow 2) Asymmetric upside 3) Optionality We invest in assets that work if we're wrong and multiply if we're right.

We‘re long $SHOP. We think the emergence of vibe coding tools and AI will significantly lower the bar to entry for people to start an e-commerce store. This latest news supports and accelerates our thesis so we’ve increased our position. Not advice - do your own research

$500B valuation. 20M subscribers. $13B in revenue. But the product is still… writing poems, fixing code, and helping college students cheat papers. The world’s most valuable private company has fewer users than Duolingo and less revenue than Costco makes in a week. What you’re witnessing isn’t consumer dominance. It’s positioning at the center of tomorrow’s infrastructure. GPT isn’t selling tools. It’s selling proximity to god-level compute. And governments, hedge funds, militaries, and Fortune 500s are already betting the kingdom on it. OpenAI doesn’t need 300 million users. It just needs to power the 300 people who run the world. — The Master Builder 👑 @KingsProtocol

BREAKING: OpenAI is now the world’s most valuable private company, valued at $500 billion. This is 3.5 times higher than Spotify’s, $SPOT, market value of $144 billion, and almost equal to Netflix’s, $NFLX, at ~$520 billion. OpenAI estimates its annual revenue would reach $13 billion in 2025, 3.5 times higher than in 2024. By comparison, Netflix’s and Spotify’s annual sales are set to reach $45 billion and $17 billion, respectively. Meanwhile, OpenAI’s estimated subscriber count is ~20 million, compared to Netflix’s ~300 million and Spotify’s ~276 million. OpenAI has a lot to prove.

Compounding is a hard concept for the human brain to grasp. For years, it feels like nothing’s happening: small gains, slow progress. Then suddenly, the curve bends upwards, and it feels like wealth came out of nowhere. It feels like magic, but it's just consistency and patience.

@DanW400 @DanNeidle Sure, because nothing says “advantage” like tapping UK retail’s £20k ISA allowance instead of trillions in US institutional money.

@FireFamProject @DanNeidle I have. Companies who choose to list in London should be given advantages over companies who list overseas. Access to ISA capital will be useful.

A "British ISA" was a terrible idea when the Conservatives were thinking about it, and it remains a terrible idea today.

The Louvre heist was a badly calculated risk/reward: The jewels can’t be sold as-is, they’ll need to be stripped and repackaged, destroying historic value. So why rob the world’s most famous museum, inviting global headlines? FIRE lesson: Quiet compounding > loud chaos
