I bought this 1796 map of Africa for $165 in New York in 2024. It shows the African kingdoms that existed before colonialism. I can’t work out whether Zambia was part of the Jaga or Catango or Monomatapa kingdoms. This is what we should be teaching our kids in school.

@muloongo Also can now definitely confirm you map is from London between 1750–1820, its a great find to be honest cant confirm if its original or an reprint

@muloongo I am simply stating what i am seeing on the map. Can confirm this is from the dutch when they arrived at Cape of Good hope as the word "Hotentots" is what the duch called the khoisan. Didnt mean it in a bad or negative way

@Rahul_AJ_1990 Well she is not wrong, we have a total of 4 oil tankers as of 2026 and some of the is for a specific product like diesel or petrol only. So we still need to refine the crude oil, and we dont have the capacity to do so.

It appears that a number of accounts have been upset by some of this embassy’s posts regarding the crimes and killing of people in the West Asia region, including Iran, Lebanon, and Palestine. It raises a serious question as to why there has been no mention, nor even the expression of the slightest regret, over the killing of civilians, particularly schoolchildren, and the destruction of hospitals, residential areas, educational facilities, and schools.
