The moment I’ve been waiting for in this process is for people to come after me for my past / decisions, so here is how this is going to work:
1.) if you’re going to say anything about me, tag me, don’t be a coward
2.) Yes, I do have an elite education - I walked onto the track team at W&M and then by senior year, was team captain with a full ride…I’m thankful my parents were able to pay for my college tuition for the rest of it…
I then got a JD/MBA at UVA, was the youngest person ever admitted to Darden, etc. That cost me $350k+ in federal student loans at 7% interest. This is just a small part of my anger at the system - student loan repayments should all be tax deductible (not just $2,500 of interest) that’s government profiteering otherwise, but alas, I don’t think we should live in a world where people are punished for wanting to learn
3.) I did leave the best / highest paying job on Wall Street at Centerview to go on reality tv. The golden handcuffs were closing in on me and I knew if I didn’t leave then I’d be trapped for life and never do anything to help others
I also left Lazard and working for the guy who implemented Obamacare because they wanted to represent Purdue Pharma in their restructuring when the idea was first brought to our team meeting…again, I have anger at the system
4.) I did create a company that did the first ever earnings call on twitter spaces, which has now been copied by everyone from Tesla to robinhood
That first client, that was the only one to give me the chance, had their stock go to an all time high while I was a contractor for them. They’re the only publicly traded strip club and now under federal indictment for something w taxes but I’m thankful for the opportunity they gave me and had a blast
5.) I’ve always had a diverse group of friends because I respect humans, of all kinds, and believe that everyone’s voice is equal
Now that’s I’m through with that, follow along for more of the show and this experiment that will show transparency in democracy and break the system

@SchrodingersAlt Minetta Tavern, Raoul’s (best steak au poivre in the city), Keens, Monkey Bar, are all great with an old school NYC feel

Along the same lines, every college resume I look at now has 4+ internships
Not sure what happened to working a normal blue collar job freshmen year but can say with certainty the lack of ability to hold a conversation is directly correlated

This growing trend of kids forgoing a traditional high school/college experience to “grind” and become “founders” is a sign of moral decay at incredible scale. Most don’t create anything of societal value, just solutions to artificial problems out of a desire to get rich quick. Focus on building relationships — not shitty B2C SaaS.
