Invito a mi pueblo a pensar en la libertad y la justicia económica, que al final será lo que nos permitirá avanzar en la restauración de nuestra dignidad, tan pisoteada históricamente. The Global Black Economic Forum released a new report setting the record straight: Far from benefiting from “special treatment,” minority-owned businesses are being systematically shut out of federal contracting opportunities. The data shows that minority-owned firms, a vital part of the business community, receive less than 10% of federal contract dollars. With recent political rollbacks, this disparity is set to worsen. We will continue the fight to secure fair access and opportunity to unlock the potential of diverse entrepreneurs and bring us closer to an equitable future.
