Just completed the 7th reshoot of my Starship HLS video. I've now shot about 11 hours of 6K content, which is WAY more than even the Apollo video. Thanks to all the supporters who pointed out some good fixes and additions! HOPEFULLY WE'RE DONE ADDING STUFF NOW! 🤞

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗜𝗨𝗥𝗔 𝟱’𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲! These are the Flight 1 Liquid Oxygen (LOX) tanks for our orbital launch vehicle -first and second stages- now taking shape as part of the integrated flight structures. Seen here in their final flight-ready configuration, this flight hardware marks a key milestone ahead of MIURA 5’s first test flight, planned for 2026 from Kourou. MIURA 5 is moving from development to the launch pad really fast 🚀

A manned mission to Eros post-Apollo would have been easier and less expensive than a Mars mission (and wouldn't necessarily have required development of a nuclear upper stage). On the other hand, it's hard to get the public and Congress excited about going to visit a rock floating in the void.

STARSHIP FLIGHT 12! 🚨 The FAA confirms the May 12 date for Starship Flight 12, with a May 13 backup. While Booster 19 still needs to perform another static fire with its swapped V3 Raptors before we get a full stack, the next few weeks will be intense at Starbase! 📸: SpaceX

PAD 2 ANOMALY! 🚨 Yesterday's water deluge test ended with an explosion that sent roofing into the air! It seems a gas generator exploded and took the roof cover with it. Hoping this is a quick fix for the SpaceX teams and won’t delay Starship Flight 12! 📸NasaSpaceFlight
