This morning, @Alsbihi93 and I presented our @SylvesterCancer Grand Rounds M&M case-based discussion on the clinical utilization of liquid biopsy (ctDNA) in solid tumors from beautiful Puerto Rico, where we will also share our work at @FLASCO_ORG . Liquid biopsy is a rapidly evolving field, with growing evidence supporting its role across the cancer care continuum, including diagnosis, risk stratification, treatment monitoring, tumor evolution, and therapeutic sequencing. Through real-world cases, we discussed both the strengths and limitations of ctDNA, emphasizing thoughtful integration with pathology and radiology to support clinical decision-making. @GlopesMd @Latinamd @mbilusic @HemOncMiami

Newly dx cardiac AL amyloidosis patient- 1st visit w me earlier this month @SylvesterCancer - pt had valve replacement surgery 2.5 years ago. Requested path w Congo red (CR) stain etc from surgery. See below… was amyloid there. Should we add CR stain to all cardiac pathology?
