Congratulations to James Talarico on his victory! I’m proud of my friend Jasmine Crockett for the race she ran. She will continue to be a fighter for all of us. That fight continues as we all work to send James to the US Senate!

There is power in community and in voting. I spent the day in Texas talking with community members about why Jasmine Crockett’s leadership is needed in the Senate. The conversations matter, but the turnout decides it — get out and vote. Our democracy is worth fighting for.

Senator Mikulski was present to usher me into my journey as a new Senator. And this weekend, it was so wonderful to see each other! Throughout my first year here, she has offered advice and support and continues to be one of my biggest cheerleaders. Her love for Marylanders remains limitless. Thank you Senator for being a living light for me and for so many women who walk in your footsteps.

It was wonderful to be in Frederick County to honor a super bad woman -- Yvette Lewis. An indispensable member of my team and a leader in Maryland for years, Yvette has made our Democratic Party stronger and more unified. I can think of no one more worthy of this recognition.

Experience is the difference between a promise and results. I’m proud to endorse my friend Tara to be the next Prince George’s County State’s Attorney. A proud daughter of Prince George's, Tara has spent years in the courtroom and will make our County safer and more prosperous.

People often tell me they’re jealous of our Governor. I tell them they’re right to be. Happy birthday to my friend, the fearless leader of Team Maryland, Governor Wes Moore.

I hosted a “Seizing the Moment” panel where we heard from leaders in AI, digital assets, and more. It’s critical that we work to ensure every American can benefit from these new marketplaces. You shouldn’t have to be a billionaire to harness the power of new technologies.

Proud to kick off this year’s Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Annual Legislative Conference. It’s a privilege to serve as co-chair. Years ago, I served as a CBC intern. To come full circle in this moment is an honor.
