i do think there's some benefit of doing this over shine turn around but the uses are kinda niche

It’s now been a month since RSN “Medic” took my iPad irl, changed my password and hacked my OSRS account stealing over 5b worth of gear and drop trading it to his account. I have evidence including time stamps and pin point locations of the iPad being used at our old address to change my password and wipe my bank at our old home while I currently live 7 states away, yet his account is still active and playing freely. Over 4000 hours of time and hard work wiped overnight and Jagex refuses to do anything to rectify the situation. Just so heartbreaking to have to restart from scratch after years of work, and even losing my scythe kit. @JagexAsh @JagexAyiza @JagexAthena @JagexGoblin

Had a nice convo with Ayiza. There wasn’t previous precedent for this circumstance . They will be refunding my friends and I an equal amount of xp to: 40k/hour (the previous known meta) based on how much time we trained slayer. I averaged 53.4k an hour according to their logs

During routine checks at the start of this week a number of accounts were flagged for having obtained abnormal amounts of XP. It was investigated further, and today the bug was fixed to prevent it being possible again. Any accounts found to have abused this had their XP removed - not just you. I know an apology doesn't mean much for your loss of income, and I am sorry, but that's not information we're able to really take into account when making decisions on game health, which I hope you can understand.

So I find a new method. Have to proactively multilog on MANY accounts for it. Average 45k xp/hr. Spent 3 months (WHY I HAVENT UPLOADED IN 3 MONTHS). Lost literal income doing this. And you reset my slayer down overnight to 78? What the fuck is wrong with you all? @JagexAyiza

@Mandrue @GamewithDave It’s the SNES buttons Earlier devs though gamers would struggle with so many buttons so they wanted some form of mental separation (so not abcd) But xy as opposed to 12 or shapes or anything is just random afaik

@GamewithDave I wonder why both controllers used A, B, X, Y as opposed to abcd or ab12 🤔 Is it X Y like the axis, or is there some other logic behind this?
