The FBI does not interview someone four times unless they think they're credible. Trump raped a 13-year-old child.

They cut Meals on Wheels for seniors, doctors for the VA, and food for American children - but send billions of taxpayer dollars to the Middle East for an unnecessary war of choice.

If there was ever a moment for libertarians and conservatives to step up and join the rest of us, we’re in it. Americans have to unite and stop this descent from a freedom-loving nation into the kind of place where masked, militarized government agents are sent to politically noncompliant areas to roam the streets, terrorize civilians, and deploy violence with impunity.

Government shutdowns always end up costing extra taxpayer money. The 2018-2019 partial shutdown lasted 34 days, cost $11 billion and led to a lost of an estimated 25,301 years of work, according to a Senate report. wapo.st/42PDW1i

Democrats are fighting to preserve an Obamacare tax credit. Without it, a 55-year-old couple making $85K would see their premiums more than triple to $24,535.

It doesn’t matter what you think of James Comey. All that matters is this: The President of the United States has been ordering The Justice Department to go after his political opponents. That’s wrong. It’s fascist, it’s banana republic stuff, it’s an abuse of power, it’s a direct attack on the very concept of equal justice before the law, it’s an impeachable offense, and it’s a direct attack on the integrity & independence of the Justice Department. Every single prosecutor at the DOJ should threaten to resign in protest. None of this is normal. And none of this is okay. Not here in America. This is how the rule of law dies. And not one Republican will say a thing.

Where has all the leadership gone?  If not for university presidents, law firm managing partners, and corporate chief executives standing up against bullies, who then will step up for the first amendment?  The “suspending indefinitely” of Jimmy Kimmel immediately after the Chairman of the FCC's aggressive yet hollow threatening of the Disney Company is yet another example of out-of-control intimidation.  Maybe the Constitution should have said, “Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, except in one’s political or financial self-interest.” By-the-way, for the record, this ex-CEO finds Jimmy Kimmel very talented and funny.

This is fascism. This is what fascists do. But once again, when future generations look back and wonder how fascism ever came to America, they will point right to all the fascist’s enablers. They will point to you @WaltDisneyCo, and you @Disney, and you @ABC, and you @ABCNetwork.

In the last few years we've seen: - The plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer - The Storming of the Capitol and pipe bombs left at the RNC and DNC - The break-in to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and the brutal on Paul Pelosi - Multiple assassination attempts against Trump - The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and the shooting of on State Senator John Hoffman and his wife - Luigi Mangione's assassination of Brian Thompson - The assassination of Charlie Kirk Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all. The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.

My thoughts on this dark day. 1/ The beating heart of a free society is the ability for citizens to engage in political life with no fear of violence. Once we lose this freedom, few will step forward, and our entire democratic experiment unwinds into chaos and recrimination.

Mr. President @realdonaldtrump I understand why you are confused...all your time in DC you haven't eaten ONCE outside the White House or your own hotel. I've lived here for 33 years, and it's a flat out lie that half the restaurants have closed because of safety...but restaurants will close because you have troops with guns and federal agents harassing people...making people afraid to go out. Cities and towns and rural areas of America need policies that allow small business to thrive and all people including immigrants to live and work with dignity. People shouldn't be afraid of their government...government should have respect for its people, not terrorize them.
The Bulwark@BulwarkOnline

Trump: “Half the restaurants closed, because nobody could go, because they were afraid to go outside. Now those restaurants are opening and new restaurants are opening up. It's like a boom town.”

Modest proposal: If Dems retake Congress, they must launch the most sweeping damage assessment of the rule of law in American history. Not piecemeal hearings. Not symbolic subpoenas. But a full-scale investigation into how Trump & team broke laws.
