@Brant_Berglund If the model says Carolina out chanced Montreal, then the model needs to be fixed. The conclusion shouldn't be well actually, Carolina had more expected goals. Some outliers are discoveries that prove more important than the intended original model.

Sure, MTL had some chances, but Buffalo missed 6-8 golden opportunities. It could've easily been a blowout by mid 3rd if not for Dobes and misses

The goalie hopscotch thing worked when you weren’t playing playoff caliber teams. Top line is not getting any top tier scoring chances. A youth movement is fine, but they should not be your best players consistently in a playoff series. This team needs vets with big game experience. The lines should have been shaken up big time after Game 2. It’s not over… yet, but Montreal has looked better in 4 of the 5 games… by a lot!
