@AltayrMusic 100%, my point was mainly attacking the idea I see people constantly bring up, that the solution to this epidemic is for everyone to be armed at all times

I don't understand how people still think more people with guns will fix these problems, look at all the shootings in Texas lately and then look at all the shootings happening in countries with effective gun control legislation, quite a dramatic contrast

@qbikmusik I mean yes to a degree But if you addressed mental health issues accordingly you'd definitely see a decrease Theres also a ton of societal factors specific to the US that also increases violent crime in general Also gun education and stricter/standardized background checks

@AltayrMusic They aren't mutually exclusive, both mental health and the insane ease of access and lack of regulation around guns are both serious issues
