Nigel Farage has called Welsh people “Foreign speakers” in a Cameo video. I hate to break it to you Mr Farage, but if you read a history book you would realise English is more foreign in the UK than Welsh. He said: “Gutted I couldn’t attend the wedding. I wanted to come, but I heard that half the guests were Welsh, and I don’t know. Who knows what would have happened with all those foreign speakers there. I don’t know.” This is at a time that his party are trying to convince people in Wales that they should elect them to the Welsh Parliament. Reform has no interest in getting to grips with the immigration issue, they just want to exploit it. Their rhetoric is leaving hardworking people in Caerffili feeling unwelcome in their own communities. Vote Plaid Cymru to stop Reform.

So Reform have picked a man who was previously under investigation by the Scout association for posting, sharing, and liking anti-trans and homophobic Tweets. All whilst being in post as the Welsh head of communication for Scouts Cymru. As someone who is closely linked to the Scouting movement, I understand better than most, how utterly reprehensible this is and does not, in any way, align with the values of the Scouts. An ex UKIP candidate fits the bill perfectly for Farage and co. — makes a change from nicking Tories, I guess. But, here we are again. The pool from which Reform select candidates is shallow and full of bigots. Vetting, shmetting. They don't bother, clearly.
