@TheCruncher76 Inconsistency has been our achilles heel all season I’m not sure we could put in 3 strong performances in a row. Just don’t fancy playoffs ! We have just got to go on a run starting tomorrow . We still have both M’Bough and Millwall to play at home they are both must win games

Would you take this scenario 🤔 Town finish 4th and take on Hull City over 2 legs in the PO, then face Millwall at Wembley?? 🏟 #itfc

@TheCruncher76 @BigEdBanthorp Agree completely plus our biggest problem atm is we lack leadership on the field particularly in key moments. That’s where we miss him the most

@TheCruncher76 Big week ahead for everyone at the club. Nowhere near the level required at the moment. I don’t buy the “whole new Team” story from KMc either. His ability to improve all he touches, tactics and game management all under scrutiny now. Could go either way in the next month or so !

@TheCruncher76 Let’s hope so, although can’t see us getting anything out of the next 3 games Just hope we don’t get humiliated in any of them and then we finish the season with a couple of positive results so important for morale next season

@TheCruncher76 @ryan__ITFC For sure also look at Luton just to show it’s not easy and many others still in champ We certainly have the squad to go again but it’s not a no brainier very dependent on who goes/comes in and team spirit Hitting the round running is vital playing catch up will be more difficult

Death by a thousand cuts, dreadful second half, subs to late, not sure how Philips sat on the bench for 90+ minutes. As for VAR, sucks the life out of football 😠 #itfc

@ryan__ITFC @TheCruncher76 Yes you’re right the 4th time in 31 games and we did our very best throw that away. Doesn’t change my point it’s a massive task to turn things around for next season. Winning or losing is habitual. We benefited from that from league 1 but turning losing into winning much harder

@TheCruncher76 Looking at fixtures given present form Wolves should get between 8/10 points B4 end of season We’ll need 16 or 17. Not possible I’m afraid. Task now is building for championship next season and making sure this experience doesn’t kill us. We’ll need to hit the ground running!

Our season summed up in 90 minutes, alot of pretty football, not enough quality in the final third and then we switch off and concede 🐺 my MOTM, comfortable and very assured Championship again Ole Ole 🚜 #itfc

@TheCruncher76 We’ve got 11 cup finals to play anyway between now and the end of the season so doubt we need a 12th

No shame in going out tonight, boys dug deep for 120 minutes, defensively sound. Takes alot of balls to stand up and take a penalty, someone always is going to miss Thought that was Ben Johnsons best game in a Town shirt tonight 👏 Onto Palace 🚜 #itfc

@TheCruncher76 Lowest ever PL points for a team to stay up was WBA in 04/05 with 34 points If we manage to stay up we’ll set a new record that’s for sure

There is a general acceptance now that Gareth Southgate has taken England as far as he can, and that a finisher is required. But who? For the past two years, the obvious three potential successors debated on this timeline have been Eddie Howe and Graham Potter, if the FA goes English, or Mauricio Pochettino, if the FA acknowledges that St George’s Park is not developing sufficient English managerial talent – yet - and/or it is not finding the pathway into elite club level (where foreign owners often go foreign coach and the talent is obvious). Potter is admired at the FA, but will the Chelsea failure count against him, and how will the players respond? Howe, a more obvious choice, was linked with the England job in 2016 when Roy Hodgson left, is popular, plays good football, but would he leave Newcastle United now? Pochettino is available, has a good track record of working with young English players (at Southampton and Spurs), plays good football, and very popular with players, staff and media. My choice fwiw: Eddie Howe.

@TheCruncher76 Yes agree but no one bigger than club. Brighton not a step up small club. Chelsea would be a disaster for him ownership model toxic. Poch did top job and fired Potters reputation destroyed there. If he was to get offered ManU he’ll take and who’d blame him but just can’t see it.

This whole situation is reflecting very badly on Mckenna, very out of sync with the last 2.5 years at #itfc Agent driven I'm sure, but what looks like a sad end to KMc time at Portman Road 😔
