I’ve always loved Twitter, & many #F1 fans have been kind enough to tell me that they enjoy my #OnThisDay posts, my hire car review videos etc. But sadly it’s become an increasingly vile cesspit of random unprovoked hate speech lately, as the New York Times reports today. (1/2)

@lucy_evzz I’d assume it’s about keeping the rules the rules. If you make one exemption, more will want to follow. The whole thing maybe needs looking at in light of this situation. Have to feel for Colton of course.

@JennieGow We got out fine from circuit about 30 min post podium, had 4 kids in tow age 7-12. We walked to train station two stops before where buses took fans as been busy and our train was so full didn't stop at the two stations rammed with fans. Need some post race stuff to stagger ppl!
