Alvance British Aluminium’s Fort William smelter has increased sales to the US under the new #Tariffs. Tom Uppington, managing director of @AlvanceBA , said: “The shift in tariff structures has allowed us to strengthen our #market position and extract more value from our output."

UK smelter @AlvanceBA British #Aluminium has entered a 10-year leasing agreement for the supply of 20 4-axle powder tank wagons. The wagons will replace a fleet of 2-axle models and will nearly double the payload capacity per trip between Blyth, UK and the Lochaber #smelter.
