The last coaching staff at Clark Atlanta (D2) told me a 4⭐️ ATH was too small to play at their program. I will never reach out again in my life.

@pick_six22 Based off his knowledge and background of the game and being in college two seasons. He could have. We’ve seen some fast rises. But Colorado didn’t do well upfront last season as well. Can’t say yes, can’t say no.

@kurt13warner It’s definitely the limited time coaches get with players & it doesn’t help that players are not staying at one program very long. The NCAA needs to give the coaches more hours to teach & develop. And on a side note, we need better o-line play across all levels.

Man, as I’m studying these college QBs, I am frustrated for them bc I hate so many of the play details I’m watching! They make everything infinitely harder to attack D, get spacing & give QB quicker read! College coaches, is this bc you don’t have the time to truly teach details & players to execute? Or is that not a thing & it’s the details you want & I’m crazy?

@offensive_guru I’m going to be blunt. This is not good. Please make players do the drill right and use proper fundamentals.

@Coach_Moore_BU @The_Coach_A Tulane knew what UNT was doing upfront. So they baited them to set their pass pro one way so they could take advantage. It was called/drew up that way.

@The_Coach_A That’s a really interesting protection vs that front. I wonder if the QB was supposed to check that. Or maybe they drew it up that way. Would love to know

Tulane running a Mike Creeper (Cover 3) vs. North Texas' Empty formation. Green Wave are in an Under Front & the 5t to the field works to the face of the RT setting the Mike up. --

This thread reminds me of when I coached on staffs in my 20s. People were always so triggered by a young Black coach who was knowledgeable I felt they always wanted me to slip up and say something wrong to try to discredit me. If I was White they would have loved me.

@ovabappin @ReceiverSchool Where did I ask to see it WORKING in the game? Ok last chance before I block you. Let’s see if we can get on the same page here.

@Coach_Moore_BU @CoachDomJohnson I wouldn’t advise my qb to read th stick side and then reset to come backside to a slant very late. Quick game you typically choose a side and stay there. The diamond release happens very fast.

@Coach_Moore_BU agreed, i like the release situationally also but i think it’s also overused and allows the defense to gain leverage outside of the low red

@QuincyAvery The thing with this is I’ve seen guys that does this kind of thing with their family and expect you to put the same grind in and miss important dates like he did. I’ve seen coaches punished due to prioritizing family or wanting to attend important things.

Lots judgement on this. But I'd be happy? His wife happy? Then talk should shut up cause it's not your family.
Ari Meirov@MySportsUpdate

New #Bills HC Joe Brady, talking about the sacrifices coaches’ wives make, mentioned how he once called his wife on the way to a game while she was going into labor — and found out after the game that she had given birth on her own. “This game takes away time, energy, and presence from you, and you’ve carried the weight that comes with this job so I can pursue my calling.”
