Just seen the Havertz "Red". Not for me. They don't consistently get given anymore. Two years ago yes. But this season the PGMOL have been very consistent on not giving reds for that so not a red for me. Bruno on Szobozlai two weeks ago for example

Jesus Christ. A high, studs-up sliding challenge that met the criteria for a red card under the serious foul play rule. Implement the rules you have created @FA_PGMOL. The lack of consistency is infuriating.

This should have been a red card for Kai Havertz. It's not even a discussion. No whataboutism, just this incident. That is the definition of serious foul play. This is an easy, straight forward decision. What is VAR doing? What was Paul Tierney doing?

@henrywinter Legal dispute ? Did you mention that for the disgraceful way West Ham’s goal for the ‘foul’ on Raya was disallowed ? Implications at both ends of the table but !!

Little consolation to Nottingham Forest but at least PGMO has acknowledged the referee was wrong to allow Matheus Cunha’s goal for Manchester United after Bryan Mbeumo clearly handled. He trapped the ball, controlled it. VAR intervened, encouraged the referee to look at the monitor and consider overturning his wrong decision, but the referee stuck with his decision. VAR was not the problem. VAR recommended the goal be disallowed. Fortunately, there was nothing riding on the game. Otherwise, the game could possibly have been looking at a legal dispute.

@JayVtid I know that it was his last home game but was it really necessary to interview Kieran Trippier while the game was still on ? #modernfootball

When are Sky going to learn? Cut away from these pointless replays when the ball is back in play - especially when it's an attacking phase.

@Witterbird_84 Thankfully we don’t see much of Scholes so it’s a no brainer. Gary Neville has to go. Turned into a right twat and I just don’t understand why he hates United so much. Used to love him as a player !

The problem with the reasoning that the handball was deemed accidental as the ball also came off Bryan Mbeumo’s hip before it hit his arm is that he then controlled it. It didn’t just hit his arm, he trapped the ball, clearly gaining an advantage as he turned and shot. #MUNNFO

If the FA Cup Final used to be a special day for you, then the first Cup Final you can clearly remember watching will roughly give away your age, as you will have been around 6 or 7 years old 1973 Sunderland 1 Leeds 0

🚨 Michael Carrick will stay at Manchester United as permanent manager, confirmed. Direction clear for weeks, plan also approved by Sir Jim Ratfliffe and new deal set to be signed soon. New deal for 2 years plus option to extend or directly 3 years, but no doubts: Carrick says yes and will sign the contract.

As Health Secretary, Wes Streeting deepened the privatisation of our NHS and handed over our data to Palantir, a company involved in genocide. I am sure his friend Peter Mandelson is very proud. Time to reinstate our NHS as a fully public service — and kick Palantir out!
