A map from the Virginia Department of Legislative Services shows Alexandria’s new congressional district stretching south of Richmond and ending less than 50 miles from North Carolina.
Consider this a quick reminder to vote NO on redistricting tomorrow.

Virginia’s political future could be completely reshaped in tomorrow's redistricting referendum.
The proposed redraw could turn 4 red districts blue — leaving only ONE Republican district in the entire state, if approved by voters.
The Stakes:
• Current Map: 6 Democrat vs. 5 Republican districts
• Proposed Shift: 10 Democrat districts vs. 1 Republican district
Critics are blasting this as a "political power grab."
If the measure is successful, it would give the state's Democrat-controlled legislature temporary redistricting power through the 2030 election.

In 2020, two-thirds of Commonwealth voters supported Question 1, enshrining nonpartisan legislative districts into the state constitution.
This time, please vote NO on the 2026 Virginia redistricting amendment to keep it that way.

Virginia’s current congressional map, which reflects a 6–5 Democratic majority, currently holds an “A” grade from Princeton University’s Gerrymandering Project Report Card.
This serves as yet another reason to vote NO on redistricting. #Virginia
