I just released Harmony Navigator. A chord and MIDI pattern plugin for producers who want to sketch harmony, shape movement, and build reusable ideas faster. Here are a few clips from the workflow. More info: alxemija.com

The only campaign I have against it is this notion that music is actually marketing , at which point what’s the point of calling yourself an artist if you stand for nothing and just make music for stats? It’s more influencer type clout bullshit, we don’t need more of that.
Busy Works Beats@BusyWorksBeats

My goal is to show the people who are ANTI-AI, dividing the community, that they themselves are hypocritical in their campaign against AI. When fear galvanizes a people, that is a sign of manipulation and fear - not love.

@BusyWorksBeats You’re the one dividing the community tho. Youre telling me I’m supposed to be ok with a 50 million AI artists flooding every single airwave with garbage AI slop because some insecure loser thinks just a profile picture is all it takes to be an artist for internet clout gtfo

WZRD Gundlach@WZRDShip

I hear your arguments, but the topic is divisive. How can this be reframed to bring people together? 🤔 I get that controversy feeds the algo, but can't we just let the artists art? some use AI, that's ok, some use a midi controller, and that's ok some drag Splice loops, and that's ok some use two spoons and a milk jug, and THATS OK!

@BusyWorksBeats Again you don’t know what you’re saying, Maths and physics is involved but we didn’t perceive the scales that we call “musical” until we decided the particular combination of ratios should be written down, it’s why we have major minor and various scales and instruments globally.

Music is far beyond human, it’s based in universal harmonic divisions. Secondly, if you’re measuring intent, there are far more AI songs made from intent, than humans slapping random phonetics together and calling it a song. Humans rarely focus on the “message”
Luis@TheRealGazpacho

@BusyWorksBeats A "dupe" of what? Music is a language, a human experience, not a recording. All recordings are clones, no matter the medium. If you receive a message, do you care about the sender and what they have to say, or whether it’s a text, an email, or a letter?

No one’s cherry picking shit. There’s people who think they’re artists because they’re posting a prompt that AI generated. You’re not an artist because you used Suno sorry. We don’t need more clout chasing influencer type bullshit in music it’s already crowded with dumbasses
Busy Works Beats@BusyWorksBeats

My initial question is - how can music producers demonize AI but use it at the same time. Cherry picking how someone should use a digital tool. There are many Anti-AI producers using social media, driven by non-ethical AI (according to their standards) To me, that is a logical fallacy.

@BusyWorksBeats This kind of take you have makes music product-first and not art-first. It’s sad to see how many people are going to end up on the wrong side of history with the AI boom. There’s correct ways to use ai and there’s ways to commoditize one of the greatest parts of being human

@BusyWorksBeats The funny thing is, I intend to and use Suno, but what’s funny is these arguments don’t make sense mang I’m on a mission to make people not lose sight of what matters which is to add your touch post generation not just try bluff people for clout out of insecurity.

It is all in a machine, using 1s and 0s. It is digital.
Atif Torlakovic@Alxemija

@BusyWorksBeats I never mentioned Splice. You’re trying to go for some straw man argument about digital being fake? One is generating music from trained material The other is writing it from scratch or even splice loops mixing, still far more process than any generated audio.

@BusyWorksBeats I have a lot to say on something I know a lot about and can vouch for wirh objective observation. You call that whatever the fuck you want lol What is your main claim? That because it’s digital it’s on par to the creative process? it’s simply not. There’s a term for it, “AI”

Your emotions don’t negate the facts.
Atif Torlakovic@Alxemija

@BusyWorksBeats I’ve been producing for 20 years. The word ignorance and music production shouldn’t even enter the chat box here you have absolutely no clue what you are saying. It’s a poor argument period. It’s controversial because it’s moronic.

@BusyWorksBeats You’re trying to compare a finished generated track that has everything premixed and pre sampled based on likeness of other data Vs guy or girl choosing sounds and then writing music in the moment, tweaking literally everything. One is generated music the other is just music

Using your logic, What’s the difference between ai music and me buying a serum 2 sound pack with sounds already created? I didn’t tweak anything. In fact, most producers load other peoples sounds, drag in other peoples midi, and call that “production”
🚀🔥 PetarIS.Fire 🔥✍️ // on Grokipedia 🦾🤖🤙@petarcopyrock

@BusyWorksBeats as someone who's used both the difference is you take a ton of time to tweak say a supersaw lead while in the other you just type it and wait a lil. deep down it is all the same principles. just the interface is difference.

@BusyWorksBeats Suno is a good tool, I’m glad they paying you, but they should also be giving you proper rebuttals because none of that is making any real point other than we can distribute and transmit files therefore generating music is the same as creating it from scratch because it’s digital

To be clear, I’m not saying something digital is not of value. I’m saying ai is the same as any digital music is the same as any YouTube video. It’s all digital and non-real and can be duplicates infinitely. Digital is not real. If you take a picture of a woman, is that the same as touching her in real life? No.
Atif Torlakovic@Alxemija

@BusyWorksBeats When you use the phone, is it real? Or is it fake? Who’s behind the input? because that’s another form of transmission. Just because something goes into digital space does not make it “fake” it’s a representation of the physics of waveform, it’s why we’re able to transmit data

@BusyWorksBeats Who wrote the music for Rick Rubin to “direct” ? Was it AI? And does that break down the point that someone needed to be the artist playing and recording and mixing in order for there to be someone to say “I like that?” once again, straw man argument

Explain Rick Rubin.
Atif Torlakovic@Alxemija

@BusyWorksBeats The process of creativity will never change and that is devoid of the tools, however a process has to be in place for there to be creativity by definition. You cannot generate something and have zero input and expect anyone or anyhing to consider that creative hence the backlash.

@BusyWorksBeats And whilst I’m here I’ll mention it again, When I’m making music I’m making everything from scratch I have a massive library of samples and patches I’ve made over a long time, when I produce music I don’t punch in some text. Even if it’s worse than AI, it’s authentically me.

You’re speaking from ignorance. You can input audio and generate an ai instrument vocal. Choosing a random splice loop has less intent than someone inputting their exact desire - whether through audio input or text prompt.
Atif Torlakovic@Alxemija

@BusyWorksBeats When an artist produces even loops, they’re choosing the timbre, timing, notes, volumes, mixing, and sound design on a level that Suno simply does not. That’s called craftsmanship. This digital vs analog analogy makes no sense from a computer perspective, it’s physics.

@metapreston In that era, it was. It’s easy to connect the dots looking back (Steve Jobs even said this) Our mental model has received so many upgrades since then it’s comical to compare that era to now.

@realEstateTrent This is why it’s important to dominate when you can becuase truthfully speaking nobody is rooting for you more than you are. You have to go all in on what you stand for or you will get beaten down by people who aren’t even in the same race. Good luck, you’re a lot further than me

I’m coming up on five years of being on here every single day, and honestly, my biggest takeaway has very little to do with real estate. It’s how much I’ve learned about human nature. The things I was incredibly naive about before social media: 1) How deeply people misunderstand each other 2) How powerful and widespread jealousy really is 3) How much people quietly root against each other
