at brunch, a lad in full adidas with mini LV bag, heaviest scouse accent I’ve ever even imagined, he ordered two apple juices for himself, chugged both in rapid succession, then devoured a massive prime rib. one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen.

always love these “Buy an entire village/island/duchy in Europe for 100 euros!”, then you find out a contract from 1581 requires you to work for 20 yrs as an apprentice blacksmith to the last remaining descendent of the House of Millentwip-Hezlebarg before you can take possession

i'm really more of a product engineer than an opensource engineer, but @fat bullied me into making diffs, so `here's a component that you can just throw unrealistic amounts of bullshit shit at and it should just work`. my goals were, unblankable, absurd, and a waste of pierre's vc money building shit nobody realistically needs. also it's still pretty unoptimized, so i got a lot more work to do. please use it, find bugs and let me know! 🙏

You can do `codiff pr <number>` or `codiff <url>` to review any PR locally and comment, approve, or request changes. It’s basically the same codebase. Diffshub and Codiff are code buddies!

buried a lil link in the homepage to load the diffs between v6 and v7 of linux. it'll take a while to stream all that data in, but it should work (unless your browser ooms, which it will for sure if it's mobile safari) diffshub.com/torvalds/linux…

@adamdotdev I have terrible discipline with doing it on my own. My trainer keeps me honest and showing up. I’ve almost never had him cancel or reschedule on me either tho

I spent a year and a half working out with a personal trainer and I think I prefer a $10/mo workout app. It tracks progressive overload better than the trainer did, it never has to reschedule, and it doesn’t get a sadistic kick out of torturing me. Maybe my trainer was bad??

@cnakazawa @fabiospampinato Wrt 7: The striped thing is mostly mostly a workaround for a tricky thing to solve with CSS and ensuring that pattern can repeat properly. One day I’ll tackle it, but it’s a non-trivial thing to fix

1. that's intentional. You'll focus most of your attention on the right, so I made the right section wider. 2. Actually I don't know why, cc @amadeus 3. You are right, but border radii are a mess in Tahoe and I wanted to contribute :D I'll try to align a bit more. 4. This is intentionally matching fish shell. The path is `/Users/username/Projects/project` and it is shortened by Codiff for readability. 5. Will take a look. 6., 7. Agreed, also cc @amadeus 8., 9. I told codex to fix those but it didn't and forgot to validate. Thanks, I'm on it! Thanks so much for the feedback! Keep it coming.

Nearly three years after we started, every voice and video call on @Discord (except Stages) is now end-to-end encrypted (E2EE). No opt-in required. Shipping this seamlessly across web, desktop, mobile, apps/bots, consoles, and our Social SDK (without compromising the performance or verifiability bar we set for ourselves!) was a genuinely hard, multi-year effort. I'm extremely proud of the team's focus and the outcome here. More on today's blog: discord.com/blog/every-voi…
