I spoke extensively with Maduka Onyishi whom is the founder of Maduka University. I asked him why they were charging students N2 million for transcript and he explained in detail the reason. Maduka University and Godfrey Okoye University are the only 2 accredited private universities in Enugu that offer medicine. Others are federal and state universities which are very difficult to get in due to very high JAMB score requirement and also admission racketeering. Their university is currently allowed to admit maximum of 50 students for medicine while federal universities have slot for 250 students. So students who scored very low in JAMB comes to join their school for a year and in 200 level requests for transcript to port to a federal university because at that time JAMB score is no more required. When they noticed the pattern, they had to introduce a high fee on transcripts to reduce that. This doesn’t apply in all courses in the university. It’s only for medicine, nursing and pharmacy. To be accredited the university is required to hire same number of lecturers and equipments a federal university has but the low slot of 50 is heavily impacting them negatively. Engaging in further research, I realized that every private university accredited to offers medicine charges same and some charges way more. This is a way these universities curtail that practice.

A teacher was beheaded and little children held captive with extreme torture. Is it not enough reason for the governor, all security chiefs and the president to resign? Their first duty is to protect them and they failed.

🚨THOUGHTS 💭 My grandfather bought a book that recorded the conversation that happened in the Aburi Accord VERBATIM. When Gowon came to back Nigeria after the meeting, he blatantly denied most of the recorded agreements that was reached in the accord. 5. This is another CIA talk to keep diverting people’s mind away from the fact that Yakubu Gowon with his CIA name as “Jack” is in fact a major CIA agent.

In 2024, when Heritage Bank’s license was revoked by the CBN, people with millions in deposits lost access to their money. Till today, many of them have still not recovered it. A colleague who joined us at Sterling Bank from Heritage shared what happened to him and how he lost the trust and relationship of a major HNI customer. As usual, he approached the customer for a deposit. The customer was reluctant at first, but eventually agreed and released ₦200 million to him for one month. Immediately the funds were lodged, Heritage Bank’s license was revoked barely a week later. He said that till today, the customer has only received ₦1 million from NDIC out of the ₦200 million in deposit. Even people with as little as ₦200,000 in their accounts went through serious stress before they could recover their money. One day NDIC would ask them to come and fill a form and go home. Another day, they would be asked to return and fill another form again. That process went on for months before some people were eventually credited a part of their deposit. CBN should never allow a situation like this to happen again.
