Today, PS @NgogaAristarque chaired #JyaMbere Project Implementation Support Mission kick off meeting attended by the @WB_Rwanda,@RefugeesRwanda @BRDbank, @RTDARwanda among other implementing partners. The meeting reviewed the overall progress across all project components, highlighting achievements, implementation challenges and the way forward to ensure implementation efforts are fully aligned with achieving the project targets as Phase I concludes this Year. The Permanent Secretary commended the World Bank and all implementing partners for their strong collaboration and notable progress achieved under the Socio-Economic Inclusion of Refugees and Host Communities Project, and reaffirmed the Government of Rwanda’s commitment to achieving the Project Development Objective, including completing all remaining Phase I activities within the agreed timeline. As Phase I of #JyaMbere Project approaches completion, Phase II has been extended through 2030 to scale up achievements, and ensure sustainable socio-economic inclusion for refugees and host communities. #JyaMbereProject
