@HilaryPoriss My piano teacher was my Dad, and I think I gave up on it because I was allowed to- but I came back to it when I was ready, and practiced because I loved it. NEVER ok to manipulate or abuse someone to get them to do something. Needs to stop, especially with young children

When I was 4+, I lived in terror of my violin teacher. She was REALLY mean; she kept a rusty pair of scissors to cut my finger nails if they got too long. I cried almost every lesson. But she produced great violinists. Who has similar stories? Do the ends justify the means?

@irishrygirl I don't see them doing that, but certainly whether Floyd was under the influence of drugs at that moment may be relevant, no? It may not persuade you, but it is a legitimate issue, I think.

If Chauvin’s past police brutality record can’t be brought up in trial, George Floyd’s drug addiction shouldn’t be allowed either.
