This weeks foody Friday was a bit of an engineering task for my 2nd graders. They made solar ovens to cook their s’mores and it was a blast! They love to create!

We can't say we care about SEL and then reduce or remove physical education, Arts (visual, performing), etc. As well as reducing or removing recess and unstructured play. All of these are critical to social growth and academic achievement.

Teachers build relationships with students to create a positive learning environment. When Administrators build relationships with teachers it creates a positive work environment. I have the best team supporting me! @teri_silva @EISDAPlife06 @PeralesESchool
