Can only agree with his compassion, Chester Burrows was the first chair of the cross party human rights group and showed wonderful leadership in bringing a cross-party approach to issues around refugees and rights. A great loss and condolences to his family

I met Chester Borrows a few times while working on the double the quota campaign. He was always open & warm. When his National colleagues were heartless he showed compassion & care about what NZ could do better for refugees & asylum seekers. A great loss, aroha to his loved ones
