After 5 years of playing VAL the community became unbearable to a point where 90% of my games have extremely toxic players. The only solution going forward for me is to completely abandon voice comms and text chat. I will always play for objectives, always try to win but im not gonna allow random assholes to ruin my day every single game. Enough is enough. I already play like this for over a week but today I gave it a chance and it ended up like always does, toxicity, xenophobia, passive agressiveness and using mollies on teammates or running it down mid with the spike. Riot is not doing enough to combat the toxicity and the festering wound has been gaping open for far too long. Now the pus is everywhere. I also believe that RIOT NA is not aware of issues that are happening in Europe and Pacific, because of our “unique” culture and language wars. I love the game but the players make it hard to enjoy the game. Hopefully riot will do something real soon about it but till then, bye bye comms.
