Muslims do not offer regular five-time Namaz on roads. It usually happens only during Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Twice a year and only for around 10 minutes, that too when the mosque is full. In recent years, many mosques have started arranging 2–3 Jamaats to ensure people don’t have to pray outside. But the leaders know that this is the only way to divert the attention of their followers. They know, This is the only way to please their followers and make sure they don't question the govt.

Ravi anna, patients come to me with severe organ injury/side effects (liver with or without kidney/bone marrow/skin) after consuming these so-called traditional herbal rubbish - Siddha products included. This "agent of pharma mafia" is a stale and boring argument under every post of mine. Stop bringing this garbage argument time and again. People who follow me and know my public health activism knows that I am an agent of the public. What is wrong with kabasura kudineer or any ayurvedic product is that they aren't conclusively proven to have any clinical benefits, but have a long history and incremental documentation of adverse events. They are sold on faith and belief and centuries of use, just like how religion is sold to the people. They may or may not be cheap (majority of alternative medicines are really expensive), but the treatment of their side effects is rather expensive (which is avoidable) - because organ failure and impending death are not "cheap things" to manage inside a hospital. In fact, my department is making more money because these quacks are legalized and legitimized by the Government, under banner of Ayush. By asking public to stop falling for traditional herbal pseduoscientific products, I am only reducing my business. If I wanted to make more money, I would be keeping quiet and letting the quacks do their magic on the patients, while we keep billing them for damage control. You do not understand any of this because you are an idiot.

Today is the last day of this month. The next month, of May 2026 is important for me. I am not sure I can explain how important it is for me, because a childhood dream of mine will take shape in May. I am stepping out of my work shoes and entering a place where I am free. From student to doctor, doctor to clinician, clinician to scientist, and now finally, clinical-scientist to author. It reminds me of this quote - “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” - Maya Angelou And just like that, I receive this message from my audiobook narrator artist today morning. It felt good see that first "review" from someone who has gone through it all. And it made me happy. My first book, the non-fiction from @HarperCollinsIN will release next week.
