Breathe, & visualize your safe place. "See" your safe people. For many survivors, that place & those people might be places & characters from fiction or history. Doesn't matter. "See" them. Feel them. Let their safety & stability quietly support you in the "real" world today.

You’re gonna be bombarded today with “what are your resolutions” & “new year, new you!” & all this pressure to change who you are to better fit the expectations society has of you. Here’s your reminder that you don’t need to answer that call. You are, as you are, already enough.
