I also have my own merchant booth, so I kinda see several sides of the spectrum. I know there are several brands that may be interested to sponsor markets in cons, but sadly 1/

Hate 2 say it online but my provincial city, conventions now combine both artist alley and merchants/exhibitors under one category. So artists all have to pay merchants table rates (₱16,000). But artists still need to adhere to local provincial rates for their pricing fcourse :)

this was at a con where the table is +8.4k php. People don't realize that table prices and manufacturing prices are increasing every year, yet artist prices remain virtually the same A fairly well known con in PH used to be 8,000 php in 2022 is now about 17,000 PHP in 2026 (1/3)

@ocSEAn28 :( its sad sinceits mostly since space rent is still the same whether its merchant or artist.
I will take this feedback to the organizers and maybe we could figure out ways to make rates more accomodating for artists. I haw suggested looking for sponsors to absorb the costs 1/
