I have a biracial teenage daughter and her hair isn’t very course, but it is VERY curly&I had to educate myself on what to use/what not to use on her hair VERY early on. And to straighten her hair GOOD it takes me every bit of 2 hours if not longer.

@Raxtrulin @The_Only_Barbie It’s a lack of knowledge thing. Nothing to do w/racism. Black hair is very different. Time & product. Most whites don’t know how to cut/style black hair. It’s a very long process & they can destroy hair if they don’t know how/what to do. It takes me 2 hrs just to dry/flatiron 😭
